Commercial Lines Account Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. This individual will be responsible for preparing quality submissions to carriers on behalf of clients or prospects, reviewing and analyzing quotations received from carriers, and preparing professional and accurate proposals for presentation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality submissions to carriers on behalf of clients or prospects.
  • Analyze quotations received from carriers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and deliver professional and accurate proposals to our clients.
  • Review and verify endorsements for accuracy.
  • Process premium audits and assist clients in resolving any disputes.
  • Prepare certificates of insurance and deliver them to clients.
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews to identify insurance requirements.
  • Deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage.
  • Secure premium financing when necessary.
  • Verify newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, carriers, producers, and peers.
  • Prioritize workload, including tasks delegated to the Account Assistant.
  • Organize monthly renewal meetings with producers and other account managers.
  • Maintain certifications and complete assigned training goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Worker's Compensation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems is essential.
  • Sagitta AMS is a plus.
  • A strong work ethic, timely follow-up, team orientation, proactivity, attention to detail, and dependability are essential qualities.
  • The ability to work independently is also required.
  • A Resident Insurance License is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of commercial lines experience is necessary.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000, depending on experience.
