Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive penetration testing strategies for internal and external network assets to uncover and illustrate potential security weaknesses.
  • Engage in hands-on technical assessments that go beyond automated tools, including full exploitation and access leverage across diverse environments such as cloud infrastructures and operating systems.
  • Develop detailed engagement documentation, clearly outlining findings, vulnerabilities, and actionable remediation strategies while effectively communicating risks to stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing research in information technology security to stay abreast of emerging threats and devise exploitative techniques that mirror the tactics of known adversaries.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of tools for penetration testing and proactive identification of security weaknesses, adhering to established methodologies.
  • Utilize both internal and external resources to gather intelligence on threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker methodologies.
  • Deliver regular risk assessments to senior leadership, proposing remediation strategies to enhance the overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Participate in the development and execution of functional strategies to improve organizational cybersecurity services.
  • Perform additional duties as required to drive continuous improvement in processes and practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, particularly in penetration testing within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven expertise in conducting security assessments and vulnerability evaluations for large-scale networks and cloud systems.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in information security principles and computer science.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, networking protocols, applications, and operating system functionalities.
  • Experience with penetration testing frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP.
  • Hands-on experience with various operating systems and their configurations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced techniques such as application manipulation and exploit development.
  • Programming skills focused on penetration testing or automation processes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Cobalt Strike, Kali Linux, PowerShell, and Burp Suite.
  • Possession of an Offensive Security Certification (OSCP, OSEP, OSWP, OSWA, OSWE) is advantageous.
