Slot Machine Repair Specialist

Position Summary:
The Advanced Slot Technician plays a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing gaming machines, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both mechanical and electronic systems. This position also involves mentoring junior technicians and ensuring the operational efficiency of all slot-related equipment.

- Act as the Supervisor Slot Technician in their absence as required.
- Assist in coordinating slot floor operations and shift assignments.
- Provide guidance to Slot Technicians during assigned shifts.
- Manage special projects as designated.
- Ensure the seamless operation of all slot machines and related equipment.
- Maintain slot machines and their components in optimal working condition.
- Perform specialized roles as needed, such as Electronic Technician or Parts Technician.
- Protect all assets within the slot department.
- Adhere to all relevant gaming regulations and internal policies.
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by the slot technician supervisor.
- Possess a thorough understanding of slot machinery.
- Maintain a consistent and professional work ethic.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
- Consistently comply with all gaming regulations.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Participate in training seminars as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis)
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential. A minimum of two years' experience in a Slot Technician role and at least three years of electronic experience are necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as mandated by federal, state, and gaming authorities.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Leadership and motivational capabilities.
- Expertise in electronics at the circuit board level.
- Technical training and experience with gaming machines.
- Familiarity with electronic and computer programming.
