Job Description

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories according to specifications
  • Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • Troubleshoot issues with the machine or the machining process and make necessary adjustments or repairs

Requirements:

  • Programming skills in MasterCAM
  • Experience with mills and lathes
