Engineering Liaison for Exterior Plastics

We are a dynamic team at Toyoda Gosei Americas, working together to deliver high-quality products to our customers. As an Engineering Liaison for Exterior Plastics, you will be responsible for leading product development efforts and collaborating with team members to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead product development efforts with customers and team members, negotiating designs and engineering requirements to meet quality, feasibility, cost, and profitability requirements
- Serve as a SME on company resources for design, analysis, measurement, testing, & prototyping
- Participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA); identify failure modes, complete fault tree analysis, and develop countermeasures & revised designs to meet updated requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering; major in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience designing and engineering plastic injection molded components
- Must possess knowledge of Plastic engineering design for automotive components, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), along with proficiency in tolerance stack-up studies
The estimated salary for this role is around $110,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as life insurance and disability benefits.
