Netskope Network Security Engineer III

Location: Dublin, CA (Hybrid - On-site once per week)

Job Description:
The Network Security Engineer III will play a critical role in strategically designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions. This position is pivotal in protecting the company's information and technological infrastructure, requiring a forward-thinking approach to network security challenges.
The ideal candidate will lead key security initiatives, transforming conceptual strategies into tangible implementations. You will be responsible for hardening the organization's network security posture, developing comprehensive procedures, and ensuring compliance across multiple technological environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge Network Security designs
- Develop security standards aligned with industry best practices
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and strategic objectives
- Design and implement Enterprise Security solutions across development, test, and production environments
- Provide advanced technical expertise to IT, Business, and Operations teams
- Contribute to technology roadmap and long-term architectural strategies
- Manage and operate production environment toolsets and services
- Collaborate with vendors to deploy solutions and implement enhancements
- Serve as a key liaison between Information Security and IT functional groups
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organizational structure
Required Experience/Skills:
- Extensive experience with Netskope or comparable security platforms (Zscaler, Forcepoint, Fortinet)
- SASE and SSE
- Proven expertise in VPN alternative product implementation
- Demonstrated experience deploying Zero Trust solutions
- Strong background in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementation
- Network Security expertise
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Integrator certification
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with email security gateways like Proofpoint
- Senior-level technical certifications (CISSP, CCSP, MCSA)
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Architect certification
- Leadership experience in technical environments
- Strong decision-making capabilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field preferred
- Equivalent professional certifications and experience will be considered
