Position Summary: The role entails managing various project quotations. The individual will be tasked with delivering quotes as requested by clients promptly and efficiently. All project quotations must be finalized at least 24 hours before the bidding process. This position operates under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients, manufacturers, and external sales representatives as needed.
  • Generate competitive and efficient quotations for mid-sized projects in alignment with local market dynamics.
  • Provide quotes for both miscellaneous and project-specific requests from clients.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding project buyouts with manufacturers.
  • Demonstrate a degree of creativity and flexibility in the role.
  • Willingness to visit client sites when necessary.
  • Participate in product training sessions when available.
  • Exercise independent judgment in various situations.
  • Compile daily reports that include all bid requests.
  • Deliver detailed quotation breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations.
  • General knowledge of lighting products is required.
  • Experience in project buyout processes.
  • Familiarity with submittal creation and review.
  • Strong mathematical skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook is necessary.
