Position Summary
ABM is seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Maintenance Specialist to contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of our client's facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and professional environment.
Essential Functions
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and reporting any necessary repairs to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors regarding cleaning needs and maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
