Essential Functions

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and reporting any necessary repairs to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors regarding cleaning needs and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
