Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly processes requests to add or modify payor and service codes.
  • Evaluates payor code information to ensure accurate billing setup according to payor specifications.
  • Investigates payor billing requirements and addresses inconsistencies that may lead to claim submission errors or collection challenges.
  • Collaborates with various departments to devise effective solutions for claim submission errors or collection issues.
  • Assists in conducting payor performance reviews to analyze claim submission errors or collection challenges.
  • Suggests process enhancements for the payor file based on audit findings.
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge base of payor information.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in business or medical billing/collections preferred.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in creating spreadsheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven customer service skills when addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
