Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring the highest quality image.
  • Administer contrast media orally or assist physicians in intravenous administration.
  • Enter complex data into computer systems and review images to ensure technical quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other technicians to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
  • Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)).
  • Venipuncture certification or completion of a venipuncture course.
  • BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with a commitment to obtain BART within six months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification.
  • Five years of experience in a similar role and setting.
  • Hospital experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
