Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and imaging services using advanced Computed Tomography (CT) technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of CT procedures on patients of all age categories, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and take corrective action as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Provide patient care essential to CT procedures, including explaining procedures to patients and verifying patient history.
  • Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a CT technologist within the past 2 years or 2 years of experience as a staff technologist with successful completion of the department CT training program.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California) or Certified Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certificate (California).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of clinical experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist, preferably in an acute care medical center.
  • Experience with GE CT scanners and 3D post-processing.
