As a Computed Tomography Technologist at the University of California, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Working under general supervision, you will perform routine to complex computerized tomography (CT) procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with established guidelines and CT protocols.

Key responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for procedures, administering contrast media, and entering complex data into computer systems. You will also review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical quality and image quality.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and computed tomography, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a graduate degree in radiologic technology, California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification, and Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)).

Preferred qualifications include California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification and five years of experience in a similar role.

This is a part-time appointment, and employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. The annual full pay range is $121,355 - $150,816, and the hourly equivalent is $72.23.

  • Thorough understanding of various radiological systems to include PACS and RIS
