Activity Program Coordinator

Optalis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Activities Aide to enrich the lives of our residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct recreation assessments to tailor activities to individual needs
- Implement activity care plans to promote resident engagement
- Lead therapeutic group programs to foster social interaction and emotional well-being
- Organize ice cream parlors and social events to create a sense of community
- Transport residents to and from activities to ensure accessibility
- Provide individual activity visits in resident rooms as needed to accommodate varying needs
- Document activities and resident feedback in our electronic medical record
- Attend department and facility meetings to stay informed and contribute to the team
- Offer encouragement, motivation, and support to residents during activity programs
- Assist residents as needed to ensure successful participation in activities
- Adapt activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of each resident
- Work collaboratively under the supervision of management and leadership to achieve our vision
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in activities or a related field is preferred
