Mental Health Navigator

About the Role:

Family & Children's Services is seeking a skilled Mental Health Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to provide outreach, engagement, and follow-up service navigation for individuals assessed by the Alternative Response Team (ART).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client advocacy and assist individuals with accessing all levels of service delivery and community resources they need to recover.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery.
  • Utilize the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model of care to provide innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the social sciences field is preferred.
  • Case Management Certification or obtain by taking the first available Case Management Certification course provided by ODMHSAS after hire.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver License and satisfactory driving record.
