Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist at Frye Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in performing various imaging procedures to diagnose and treat patients. This is a PRN position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implement safety standards.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality.
  • Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
