About the Role:

The Barrett Hospital & HealthCare Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead its fundraising efforts. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, the Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the hospital's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve the hospital's philanthropic goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship program to recognize and thank donors
  • Collaborate with the hospital's leadership team to integrate fundraising efforts with overall hospital strategy
  • Manage a team of development staff to achieve fundraising goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in development, institutional advancement, public relations, marketing, business, or related field
  • At least 10 years of non-profit fundraising experience, including at least five years at a managerial level
  • Strong leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to be successful in politically sensitive situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
