Job Title: Senior Field Service Technician

At SICK, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Process Automation group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and services to our customers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support and services to customers, including on-site commissioning, start-up support, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Configure and install SICK equipment, utilizing laptop and configuration software.
  • Build and maintain support structures, including the use of hand tools and basic construction knowledge.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7 years of prior field service experience in process automation or a similar industry.
  • Intermediate skills and/or knowledge of Gas Analyzers, Flare, and/or Flow devices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide on-the-job training.
