Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, IN. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our residents in their daily lives.
Responsibilities- Assist with basic patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with procedures ordered by physicians and supervised by Registered Nurses (RNs).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
- Nurse Aide certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider certification preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
