We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Lyle Health in the East Hartford, CT area. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff, including handling patient records, scheduling appointments, and preparing examination rooms.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and sterilizing equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
