About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Patient Care Unit at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a CRT, you will play a critical role in providing cardiopulmonary services to patients, collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care services to patients, utilizing specialized knowledge of cardiopulmonary principles.
  • Perform diagnostic studies and general therapy, utilizing specialized knowledge of respiratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Laboratory for technical supervision of the I-Stat machine.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge of respiratory principles in performing general duties.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) issued by the Texas Medical Board.
  • CRT license issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory program.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care facility.
