Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services
  • Build trust relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently
  • Meet and exceed sales goals, driving business growth and revenue
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Clean store equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring efficient logistics
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, driving business growth
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
