Registered Nurse RN PACU Weekend Days Evenings

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU department
- Assist with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort
- Deliver and accurately document direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care
- Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
- 12 to 24 months RN experience for Clinical Nurse II position
- 3 years of clinical experience for Clinical Nurse III position
- Academic Health Care Experience
- Experience with similar patient population in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent and intense customer interactions. The ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a noisy environment is essential.
Physical RequirementsThe position requires prolonged standing, sitting, and walking, as well as frequent bending and reaching. The ability to lift 20-50 lbs is also required.
