Nurse Practitioner

At Virginia Jobs, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our veteran residents, ensuring their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatment accurately for assigned residents
- Maintain the quality of services, monitoring, and supervising the direct care staff in the performance of their duties
- Consult with physicians, receiving, recording, and implementing orders and scheduling appointments
- Document residents' health changes via acute care nurse's notes and shift change nursing reports
- Formulate plans of care for new residents
- Prepare all required reports and documentation
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for nursing care
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
- Nursing experience in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting preferred
