PDQ Staffing is seeking a skilled Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team in the Health and Beauty manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Customer Service (excluding call center experience), sales, reporting, and business analytics. Below is a detailed overview of the responsibilities associated with this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Expertise in Order Management: Act as the primary resource for customer order management and fulfillment, including order planning and import/export logistics.
- Order Processing: Ensure that Monthly Master Orders for various markets are collected, assessed, approved, generated, and processed accurately.
- Order Acknowledgment: Review orders to provide confirmations back to the respective markets.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data from IFS and FLPI to compare order quantities against actual sales history, forecasts, and inventory levels to guarantee order precision. Collaborate with demand analysts and country managers to validate forecasted demand and enhance order accuracy.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Provide planning insights to the Supply Chain team to bridge the gap between order entry and production schedules.
- Regular Communication: Facilitate ongoing discussions with regional Directors of Operations and Home Office Representatives to review open order statuses and suggest necessary adjustments.
- Product Allocation: Manage product allocation for shipments, construct containers in the system, and provide shipping instructions to the logistics department.
- Documentation Management: Generate and compile all necessary shipping and export documentation, maintaining current revisions of export process instructions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously develop, implement, and assess export processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency while identifying potential compliance risks.
- Special Shipments: Handle special circumstance shipments as required, including priority requests and event-related shipments.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipments from the point of origin to their final destination.
- New Product Communication: Regularly engage with markets to develop projections and inform about new product availability.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product life cycles and recommend updates to the Sales Part Cross-Reference.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the communication link for regulatory matters between the company and various markets.
- Compliance Adherence: Follow departmental SOPs and company policies diligently.
- Document Preparation: Prepare all required documentation using standard office software.
- Country Table Maintenance: Keep the country table updated and accurate.
- Meeting Participation: Attend meetings and conference calls as necessary.
- Deadline Management: Work efficiently to meet all deadlines and respond promptly to requests.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
