Electrical Technician Job Description

At US Tsubaki Industrial, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with relevant codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with relevant codes
  • Perform tasks such as threading conduit ends, identifying and explaining various conduit and connectors, and using hand tools
  • Trace out circuits in wiring using test meters and drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using non-energized equipment
  • Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Strip insulation from wire ends using wire stripping pliers and identify, explain, and install various types of electrical fittings
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
  • Ability to make decisions based on measurable criteria
  • Ability to apply mathematics to solve problems
  • Ability to plan basic work and select proper tools
  • Ability to visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings
  • Ability to work at heights without fear
  • Ability to compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects
Level Requirements:
  • Level 1: Entry-level position in the Electrical trade with less than two (2) years of experience or no experience in the field
  • Level 2: Advanced knowledge in the Electrical trade with more than two (2) years' experience
  • Level 3: Advanced knowledge in the Electrical trade with more than four (4) years of experience and OSHA 30 certification
  • Level 4: Advanced knowledge in the Electrical trade with more than six (6) years of experience, OSHA 30 certification, and State Certified Journeyman's Electrical Card
