About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Gardendale Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient oral hygiene education and instruction on proper oral care techniques.
  • Perform periodontal treatment, routine prophies, dental images, treatment planning, and productive scheduling.
  • Work closely with doctors and team members to meet all patients' oral hygiene needs.
  • Maintain dental instruments and equipment, and ensure proper sterilization procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year experience in dental hygiene, including periodontics.
  • Current State RDH License.
  • Excellent dental and oral hygiene knowledge, with the ability to multitask and maintain a productive hygiene schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and team members.

Work Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:45am - 5:30pm, Friday: 8:45am - 3:00pm.

Education
  • High school or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

Motivated, personable, and looking for long-term employment. Show empathy and urgency in patient clinical care. Excellent dental and oral hygiene knowledge. Ability to multitask, maintain a productive hygiene schedule, and understand dental procedures and treatment planning.

Current state RDH License and Current CPR Certification.
