The Customer Care Representative is tasked with providing outstanding internal and external customer service by attentively addressing customers' needs or concerns and offering effective solutions. This role involves managing both incoming and outgoing communications with customers while prioritizing their requirements.

This position collaborates closely with retail banking personnel, deposit operations teams, and other departments to ensure a productive, team-oriented environment that fosters customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to incoming customer inquiries, delivering accurate and satisfactory resolutions to their questions and concerns.
  • Engages with dissatisfied customers, providing patient assistance and support to de-escalate issues and offer reasonable solutions.
  • Assists customers with troubleshooting electronic service-related issues.
  • Serves as the primary contact for customers needing help with non-branch transactions and modern technologies such as ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) systems.
  • Facilitates online appointment scheduling for customers.
  • Supports Unity's strong relationship banking ethos through continuous customer engagement, delivering quality service, and maintaining extensive product knowledge.
  • Proactively reaches out to customers through outreach calls to enhance relationships and engagement.
  • Leads the Customer Onboarding Program, connecting with new and existing customers to provide support and guidance on technology, products, and services.
  • Establishes long-term relationships with customers to facilitate cross-selling of products and services by identifying their needs and assisting them accordingly or referring them to other departments.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to meet customers' financial needs.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of the Bank's products and services, enabling clear explanations and advisement to current and prospective customers.
  • Handles tasks such as opening new deposit accounts, maintaining customer records in the Bank's core system, and other requested duties.
  • Works in conjunction with other bankers to perform dual control on specific retail functions, including but not limited to wire transfer call-back verifications and customer maintenance tasks.
  • Actively participates in a cross-trained team capable of performing all customer service functions, regardless of location.
  • Assists other departments with projects and customer outreach initiatives as needed to enhance overall organizational efficiency.
  • Contributes to creating an exceptional customer experience within the branch and participates in branch activities.
  • The working hours for this position are generally Monday - Friday from 10 am - 2 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8 am - noon.

Supplemental Pay: Bonus Pay
