Job Description

Job Title: Senior Brand Manager

Job Summary:

This position will oversee the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies to support Sourcewell's mission and programs. The Senior Brand Manager will assume delegation authority from Marketing leadership to lead aspects of the strategy for specified areas, including the utilization of outsourced talent as necessary to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Brand Management: Assist in developing and ensuring brand and identity standards, including image and messaging throughout all Sourcewell-produced materials and attended events.
  2. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive revenue and client engagement and loyalty, including media advertising and promotional activities such as print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
  3. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends to inform brand strategy.
  4. Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on brand and campaign performance, including developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure engagement and ROI.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to align marketing, communication, and public relations strategies with departmental and organization goals.
  2. Strategic Planning: Assist in researching Sourcewell's marketing needs and developing overall organizational marketing plan to include development of brand focus area specific marketing plans.
  3. Process Improvement: Analyze and assist in making recommendations for improvements and alternatives to execute the team's plans and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or communications.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated industry experience.
  • Two or more (2+) years of demonstrated experience with brand management.
  • Two or more (2+) years of experience developing and implementing a marketing plan, organizational communication strategy and/or public relations strategy.
  • Two or more (2+) years of experience in strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in marketing, public relations, or communications.
  • Seven or more (7) years demonstrated industry experience.
  • Two (2) or more years' experience leading people or teams.

Location: This is a remote position within the state of Minnesota, subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures. Candidate must reside within the State of Minnesota to be considered for this role.
