Position Summary:

The role is designed to enhance the support team for the PRISM system, ensuring efficient assistance and resolution of inquiries related to the platform.

  • The Support Specialist will undertake both administrative and technical responsibilities under supervision.
  • The main focus will be on delivering helpdesk support services for the management of the ESC PRISM system.
  • Oversee the comprehensive administration of web-based ESC PRISM systems utilized by a large number of agency personnel.
  • Advise management and users on effective utilization of the ESC PRISM system.
  • Manage the PRISM Helpdesk, facilitating user requests through various communication channels.
  • Regularly monitor the Helpdesk inbox to ensure timely responses.
  • Address all helpdesk inquiries within one business day, providing daily updates for unresolved issues.
  • Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and report any system anomalies promptly.
  • Maintain a tracking database for helpdesk requests to analyze and categorize inquiries.
  • Participate in monthly departmental meetings to discuss updates and changes to the ESC PRISM system; provide weekly status reports to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in procurement systems support.
  • Intermediate knowledge of ESC PRISM or similar federal procurement systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in data collection and documentation, including user guides and training materials, is desirable.
  • Ability to train users on system updates and changes.
  • Support the effective use of the ESC PRISM system through procedure development, training, and communication of system updates.
  • Conduct data analysis using both ad-hoc and established reports.
  • Assist in maintaining the ESC PRISM system, including identifying requirements and procedural changes.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement practices and policies is essential.
