We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Anchorage office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field inbound communications, routing calls and emails to the appropriate internal parties as needed.
  • Coordinate scheduling, setting up meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize internal resources, maintaining processes to keep files and office supplies easily accessible.
  • Liaise with visitors, serving as the point person for office guests.
  • Communicate policies and procedures, alerting employees of new processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Facilitate executive-level operations, booking travel, submitting expense reports, and sending communications for high-level staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, high-energy attitude.
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e., printers, fax machines, projectors).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint).

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and guidance to families and individuals in need. Our mission is to relieve distress and serve as a platform for learning and growth. We offer a range of services, including initiating and maintaining contact with families, creating schedules for parents, sharing information, education, and participation with other agency networks and government agencies.

We serve a diverse range of individuals and families, including two-parent families, single-parent families, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens. Our services include helping families brainstorm solutions to problems, navigating the complex social service system, and locating medical and adaptive equipment. We also assist with applications for services such as DD Eligibility, TEFRA, Respite, SSI/SSA, Transportation, and Public Assistance.
