SUMMARY

The Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy is accountable for formulating and implementing the Wheel Service business plan across the Americas, aimed at enhancing market presence. This role involves leading a dedicated sales force and collaborating closely with training, marketing, engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of VSG's Wheel Service product offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate and execute the Wheel Service strategy for the Americas.
  • Drive sales growth in pivotal channels and customer segments to enhance market share.
  • Establish annual sales and profitability objectives, ensuring they are met or surpassed.
  • Provide critical market insights and solutions to inform and guide other functional areas.
  • Develop and lead the sales team to realize the selling strategy by channel and segment.
  • Communicate effectively with independent sales representatives to ensure adherence to their specific sales plans.
  • Continuously assess the overall go-to-market strategy to identify necessary adjustments for achieving sales targets.
  • Adapt the sales organization over time to align with business growth objectives.
  • Analyze resource requirements and necessary investments to achieve market penetration and growth based on the established strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams in the creation and distribution of materials and information to the marketplace.
  • Assist in developing sales forecasts through comprehensive analysis of economic, industry, marketing, and sales data.
  • Manage and oversee the field annual operating budget, ensuring compliance with allocations.
  • Engage with field personnel, including Regional Managers and Sales Representatives, to promote company initiatives, distributor relationships, and new sales and marketing programs.

  • Develop and implement a Wheel Service Business strategy that encompasses:
  • Creation of a go-to-market strategy

OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the Wheel Service market in the Americas.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in selling Wheel Service and related equipment in the Americas.
  • Proven ability to establish strategy and build an organization.
  • Self-driven work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities, particularly in team building and employee motivation.
  • Capability to foster positive relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
