Job Description Work Arrangement:
This position is designated as hybrid.
The successful candidate is expected to report to the designated office location three times per week, at minimum.
The Role:
Execute General Ledger operations; ensure precision, promptness, and adherence to professional accounting standards and best practices in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Investigate and evaluate accounting transactions and agreements.
Establish and implement internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial protocols.
Collaborate with Finance to ascertain accounting implications of transactions and conduct analytical assessments to inform all significant business decisions.
Support internal and external financial reporting - including evaluating consolidated results, drafting SEC documents and management review reports, ensuring quality, and adhering to strict timelines.
Review current accounting practices and policies and drive ongoing enhancements.Research and interpret new accounting standards and strategize their application to the organization while complying with external reporting requirements.
Guide a team of individuals with similar functional responsibilities.What You'll Do:
Act as a liaison between IT and Finance Business partners, fostering strong relationships to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Strong technical and analytical capabilities are essential to guarantee the robustness and integrity of the system and its outputs.Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that functionality designed by IT developers aligns with the contractual measures of success (or specified business requirements).
Lead Parallel Testing with business partners by identifying key users and spearheading efforts to complete parallel testing initiatives.Leadership requires fundamental PMO skills such as developing schedules, organizing kickoff meetings, creating test cases, maintaining global office hours for support, and leading status updates with business partners.
Adhere to testing strategies to investigate system database functionality, address business concerns, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend suitable corrective actions.
Exhibit a high level of independent capability and initiative.Additional Job Description Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in general finance, systems, and data analysis.
Strong technical background and business knowledge of Financial systems including: Hyperion, cloud EPM applications, and Financial Reporting.
Advanced MS Excel proficiency, with preferred experience using Hyperion Excel add-in: Smart View.
Advanced to Fluent English skills in both verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships.

Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and manage multiple tasks within time constraints.
Able to collaborate with IT, Finance, and Accounting professionals on topics within their expertise.
