Job Summary

FCUSD is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Preschool Instructional Assistant. This role will provide support to our preschool teachers in delivering high-quality educational programs to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in improving the quality of preschool programs
  • Perform clerical duties, supervise children, and provide transportation and food service as needed
  • Participate in instructional tasks and activities that support student learning
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of six units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development required
  • Successful completion of the District Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, typically working 3-6 hours per day, 5 days a week. The work schedule may vary depending on the needs of the preschool program.
