Job Summary

Kiddie Academy is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing young children for kindergarten by introducing them to organized education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that caters to the needs of preschool children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Employ a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling, educational play, and media, to engage children and promote learning.

  • Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to support their growth.

  • Encourage children to interact with each other, promoting social skills and conflict resolution.

  • Guide children in developing their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum.

  • Organize and supervise nap and snack hours, ensuring the children's safety and well-being at all times.

  • Track children's progress and report to parents, providing regular updates on their development.

  • Communicate with parents regularly to understand their child's background and needs.

  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or Early Childhood Educator.

  • Excellent understanding of child development principles and preschool educational methods.

  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.

  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.

  • Ability to act as a mediator between children.

  • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable.

  • Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen.

  • Certification in child CPR.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.

  • Valid license to practice the profession.
