Position Overview

Wilkes Engineering Group LLC is actively looking for a Structural Engineer to enhance our expanding structural engineering practice in the scenic region of Northeast Georgia.

Position Details:

· Employment Type: Full-time

· Compensation: $55,000 to $120,000 (Based on experience)

· Working Hours: A standard 40-hour work week with adaptable hours, including the conventional schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday, or the option for a 4/10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, or a 4/9 schedule from Monday to Thursday with a half-day on Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct structural evaluations of both simple and intricate structures.

· Develop calculations, design schematics, correspondence, and various engineering documentation.

· Execute inspections to verify that structures are constructed in accordance with the contract specifications.

· Analyze structural failures and damages resulting from severe weather events, vehicular impacts, fire, flooding, and other incidents.

Educational Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.

Experience Level:

We welcome applications from both entry-level and seasoned structural engineers.

Preferred Technical Skills:

Proficiency in RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit is desirable.
