Job Title: Bridge Engineer Principal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Engineer Principal to join our team at Civil and Environmental Consultants. As a key member of our bridge design team, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of bridge design projects in the Ohio market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, planning, and project delivery to create an exceptional client experience
  • Contribute to the development of our company's strategy, focusing on providing best-in-class client service
  • Collaborate on project pursuits, proposals, scope, and schedules
  • Lead multi-discipline design efforts, including geotechnical, roadway, permitting, and others
  • Provide quality assurance review of project-related documentation
  • Coach and mentor staff across all career levels
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • PE registration in Ohio or ability to be registered with reciprocity
  • 15+ years of proven success assembling plans sets and leading design-build and design-bid-build projects
  • Prior proposal development and client relationship success
  • Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Proficiency with MicroStation, Civil 3D, and bridge design software
  • Demonstrated communication and team leadership skills
