Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Manager of Project Finance and Tax Equity will oversee the implementation of tax equity and project finance initiatives within the organization. This role requires collaboration in a dynamic, cross-functional setting with various internal and external stakeholders to assess, analyze, and execute a range of transactions, including project and portfolio financing through tax equity, construction loans, bridge financing, and back leverage debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the comprehensive project finance and tax equity processes, including structuring, due diligence, financial modeling, and closing transactions.
  • Support post-closing compliance and monitoring for loans and tax equity investments.
  • Drive the creation of RFPs and outreach materials for external financial institutions and tax equity investors for upcoming financing initiatives.
  • Engage with external banks and tax equity investors, coordinate with financing advisors, prepare deal timelines, organize internal teams, and conduct due diligence meetings.
  • Draft investment committee memos and presentations to facilitate discussions with senior management and board members.
  • Perform additional duties pertinent to this role as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • MBA or a master’s degree in finance or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance and tax equity within a deal-oriented environment.
  • Experience in M&A and Investment Analysis will be considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success at ENERGYRE LLC.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Physical Requirements:

The Manager of Tax Equity and Project Finance may be required to perform the following physical activities:

  • Move into various positions to complete tasks in different environments.
  • Remain stationary for extended periods, either standing or sitting.
  • Navigate between different work locations as needed.
  • Adjust or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Communicate effectively with others to exchange information.
  • Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Assess the accuracy and thoroughness of assigned work.

Organizational Structure:

This position does not have any direct reports.
