Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated part-time Licensed Nursing Assistant to support residents with their daily living activities and deliver routine nursing care and personal support in line with established nursing protocols, under the guidance of supervisors in our assisted living and Resident Health teams.

Work Schedule: Part-time - day and evening shifts with alternating weekends available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional CNA services that meet and surpass resident expectations.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in fulfilling nurse aide duties.
  • Focus on individualized care for each resident.
  • Engage in daily resident assessments with the staff nurse before each shift.
  • Manage assigned caseloads as directed by the supervisor.
  • Administer medications to residents as per assignment.
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Regularly check on residents to ensure their personal care needs are being met.
  • Support residents with mobility, including pushing wheelchairs and assisting with transfers to and from appointments and activities.
  • Help with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in various settings.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional health to the staff nurse.
  • Identify and report any skin integrity issues.
  • Provide a report to the staff nurse at the end of each shift.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or home health agency is preferred.
