Job Overview:

As a Front Desk Associate at FirstService Residential, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for residents and guests. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, handling inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, staff, and vendors, ensuring clear and concise information is shared.
  • Logistics: Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, handling packages, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as security breaches or medical emergencies, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Security: Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized personnel and residents have access.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily logs, resident information, and vendor contacts.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the property management team to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the resident experience and front desk operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience: Two to three years of customer service or front desk experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and proficiency in computer software and hardware.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods, and navigate the property as required.

Compensation: $20.00 hourly, paid bi-weekly.
