Job Overview:

As a Front Desk Associate at FirstService Residential, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for residents and guests. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about the community.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and service providers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, staff, and vendors, ensuring clear and concise information is shared and understood.
  • Logistics: Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, processing packages, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Security: Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and reporting, to support the smooth operation of the front desk.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the property management team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience: Two to three years of customer service or administrative experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in computer software and hardware.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30-50 pounds; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods; handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.

Compensation: $20.00 hourly, paid bi-weekly.
