Position Overview:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor for the first shift at our expansive pizza manufacturing facility, known for our celebrated Red Baron and Tony's brand frozen pizzas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production and packaging operations to ensure compliance with company and USDA standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members.
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates, adhering to EEO and Affirmative Action principles.
- Manage employee performance, conduct evaluations, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure safety, maintain cleanliness, administer policies, foster employee relations, control costs, and resolve issues.
- Adjust daily work schedules as required to meet production goals.
- Collaborate closely with USDA representatives to ensure adherence to all food safety regulations.
- Review and approve all Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation.
- Monitor product quality, usage, waste, counts, and weights to ensure performance standards are met.
- Demonstrate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and verify the accuracy of various operational reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Participate in and support Global Manufacturing Food Safety Initiative programs and compliance.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
- Strong supervisory skills and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and reasoning abilities.
- Capability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Proficient in basic mathematics and able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of bakery and dough processes is a plus.
