We invite you to join our team as a Behavior Support Specialist, where you will collaborate closely with individuals to provide in-home assistance and care. You will be an integral part of a team that prioritizes exceptional performance and maintains a positive standing within our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals experiencing challenging behaviors
  • Execute support and service plans effectively
  • Adhere to healthcare standards and regulations
  • Document and monitor relevant information accurately
  • Engage in communication with management and team members
  • Uphold confidentiality for individuals and staff
  • Support daily living activities and medication management
  • Carry out direct support tasks as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals facing challenging behaviors
  • Successful completion of a background check with the Department of Human Services
  • Understanding of healthcare laws and regulations
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with Positive Supports and Crisis Interventions
  • Capability to adhere to specific protocols

Compensation:

$20 per hour
