Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for packing, shipping, and/or package sortation of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack prescription containers into bags or sacks for delivery to patients or retail pharmacies, ensuring accuracy is verified by a pharmacist.
  • Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
  • Prepare paperwork and compile medicine for delivery orders and mail-outs.
  • Maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
  • Keep pharmacy supplies well-stocked.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
  • Report to work when scheduled and on time.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
  • Commitment to the Hy-Vee Mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Ability to read computer-generated screens.
Working Conditions:

This position is exposed to noise on a daily basis. This is a fast-paced work environment in an office and warehouse setting with significant pressure.

Equipment Used:

High volume solutions robotics and operating software.

Maintains the confidentiality of the customer's private medical information according to the HIPAA Act.
