Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse Team Leader plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our team, you will administer nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse and coordinate the activities of certified nurse assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse
  • Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants
  • Participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the needs of our residents
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
  • Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • BLS validation and re-validation in accordance with AHA standards
  • Long term care experience preferred
