Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As an Intraoperative Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring to record the function of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles using various techniques.
  • Conduct tests to diagnose potentially life-threatening neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure accurate and timely monitoring.
  • Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis according to policy and procedure.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or completion of a Neurodiagnostic Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Certification for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation.
  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification from the ABRET.
