Electrophysiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our Neurodiagnostic Imaging team at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team serving adult and pediatric patients with a strong focus on provider relations and mentorships.
In this role, you will conduct basic electroencephalograms and evoked potentials, observing, learning, and assisting with more complex electroneurodiagnostic testing. You will also scan through EEG data, create samples for future reference, and perform diagnostic testing procedures like electroencephalograms, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, long-term monitoring for epilepsy, and intensive care unit and continuous EEG monitoring.
As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, helping neurologists and neurosurgeons diagnose and treat serious medical conditions of the brain. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from children to adults, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Eligibility for graduation within the next three months from an approved school of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology;
- Two years of combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist or other clinical certification with similar patient care experience;
- Five years of combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Seizure Monitor Technician or performing similar work.
Additionally, we prefer candidates who have graduated from an approved school in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology and are in the process of obtaining registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology in Electroencephalography.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
