Position Overview
The Patient Care Host plays a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding member service experience. As a vital member of our clinic team, the Host assists members during the check-in process and possesses a comprehensive understanding of self-insured employer health plans, including copays, co-insurance, and associated benefits.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet each member warmly and manage all interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism.
- Commit to quality service, ensuring exceptional outcomes and member satisfaction.
- Address special requests for member assistance whenever feasible and work to resolve inquiries promptly.
- Support assigned projects and specific provider or patient needs.
- Facilitate the member check-in process, demonstrating a basic understanding of benefit eligibility, check-in technologies, and clinic workflows related to care delivery.
- Process necessary transactions to initiate or conclude visits.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of employer-sponsored health insurance, including copays and co-insurance, to assist members effectively.
- Engage with members through phone calls, appointment scheduling, email responses, and follow-ups on their needs.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure a seamless, patient-centered care experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.

Preferred Skills
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Apple products (Mac, iPad, iPhone), ChromeOS, or Windows-based systems such as Microsoft or HP.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative care team environment.
- Proven organizational abilities and a high level of ownership and initiative.
- Experience in multitasking, resolving issues, and managing conflicts.
- Background in healthcare service delivery.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are necessary.
- Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges.
