Job Summary

The Maintenance Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that Flintco's owned tools and equipment are in a ready-to-rent state through established procedures and best-practices.

Through the inspection process and general maintenance of equipment and tools, the team member will ensure that Flintco projects receive the highest level of project support and equipment quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect tools and equipment prior to and after rental to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Check tools and equipment in and out of the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Maintain inspection logs to track equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with general maintenance and repairs of equipment and tools.
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles.
  • Clean equipment and tools to maintain their condition.
  • Perform general warehouse and yard cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to represent the Flintco Ethos, which encourages the highest level of performance, integrity, and morale.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Organizational skills to manage time, duties, and activities effectively.
  • General knowledge of construction equipment and tools is preferred.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of maintenance or shop experience in the equipment, small engine, or automotive industry.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and smell.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
