The Clinical Registration Specialist functions as a patient resource and coordinates referrals, working collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote efficient and empathic care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Six months of relevant office experience
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Wisconsin Background Study upon hire and renewal as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Successful completion of a post-high school vocational or technical program in general business or medical office practices
  • Experience: Experience in a physician or general office setting or involving customer service
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of general office clerical functions and computerized office applications
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner, demonstrate empathic customer relations, and present a professional image
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, work independently, and respond to patients and staff in a pleasant manner
Physical Demands and Environment

The Clinical Registration Specialist works in a normal office environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires the ability to bend, sit, and lift objects up to 25 pounds, as well as work more than eight hours but less than twelve hours.
