Position Overview: As a crucial member of the Surgical Services team, the RN in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing assigned patients and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Executing and documenting nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
- Conducting various patient assessments and administering medications within the defined scope of practice.
- Educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Arkansas.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications, to be acquired within the first 90 days of employment.
- Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical environment.
